I grew up in a home where food was everything. My father’s family catered authentic Mexican cuisine, and my mother, Martha, taught herself how to cook high-end dishes from around the world. My grandfather, Julio Mario, born in France, had a deep love for wine. He showed me how the right pairing could transform a meal. These experiences shaped my passion for food and hospitality.
Bringing Cultures Together Through Flavor
At 27, I left Toluca, Mexico, for the United States. I was fortunate to work with some of Philadelphia’s best chefs, learning new techniques and refining my craft. Over 30 years, I honed my skills, blending flavors from Mexico, Italy, France, and America. Now, I bring that culinary journey to Sontuosa, right here on the Main Line.
